Directions for Use
In a published cell study, researchers examined different types of maca phenotypes alongside a saw palmetto extract to assess their effects on prostate health.1 They found that red maca, found in Revolution MacaFlow®, generally exhibited stronger antioxidant capacity, as measured by free radical scavenging activity in DPPH and ABTS assays, while black maca and saw palmetto helped maintain healthy prostate cells.*
When this targeted blend of maca phenotypes was combined with saw palmetto in specific ratios, it more effectively helped maintain healthy expression of COX-2, an enzyme associated with the body’s natural inflammatory response.1 Together, these findings suggest that certain combinations of maca phenotypes and saw palmetto may help maintain a healthy inflammatory response and healthy prostate cell activity.*
You may have noticed that the ingredient in Revolution MacaFlow® is connected to the herb maca. What many people don’t know is that there are up to 17 different types (or phenotypes) of maca, which can be different colors, have different DNA, different ingredient profiles and most importantly – have different physiological effects in the body.³

Clinical research on maca phenotypes has shown that each type may offer different functional benefits.³ For example, two phenotypes have been shown to support prostate health, while others do not and one may even be contraindicated in men with preexisting inflammation. Revolution MacaFlow® is a dietary supplement formulated to maintain healthy cellular activity and support prostate health.¹ A daily serving of MacaFlow® contains a proprietary combination of organically grown maca (Lepidium peruvianum) phenotypes (colors) - these are capsules A and B - and a clinically studied saw palmetto extract (USPlus®, capsule C), selected for their complementary roles in maintaining antioxidant activity and a healthy inflammatory response associated with prostate health.*

Revolution MacaFlow® is formulated to support prostate health, cellular health and a healthy inflammatory response. It combines specific maca phenotypes with a palmetto extract, each chosen for their ability to help maintain healthy prostate tissue and antioxidant activity.¹ These ingredients work through distinct yet complementary biological pathways to support overall prostate wellness as part of a daily health routine, if that is the therapeutic approach.*
Most maca products use generic or raw maca without distinguishing between the different types, also known as phenotypes, but not all maca is created equal. There are up to 17 known maca phenotypes, each with unique DNA, ingredient profiles and specific physiological effects.³
Revolution MacaFlow® is made from a proprietary combination of maca phenotypes selected specifically for prostate health. Clinical research has shown that different phenotypes support different outcomes—some support male fertility, others support women’s hormones and some support prostate health.*³ That’s why the right phenotype combination matters.
To provide additional support, MacaFlow® also includes USPlus® saw palmetto extract, a solvent-free extract made using supercritical CO₂ and standardized to the key fatty acids that support prostate and urinary comfort.² This level of specificity, concentration and quality is not found in typical maca products.*
The suggested use for Revolution MacaFlow® is one of each capsule (A, B and C) daily, for a total of three capsules per day. This dose reflects the amount used in preclinical research on the combination of ingredients and is intended to support normal prostate health and cellular health.*1

When to Take Revolution MacaFlow®: For the best results, it is recommended that you take Revolution MacaFlow® (all three capsules) once daily in the morning with 8-16 oz. of water before or between meals. It is preferable not to take after 3 PM as it may impact sleep.
Results Timing: Based on previous research using saw palmetto, results may be seen within six to twelve weeks.² Results may vary based on individual factors such as age, overall health and consistency of use. Some individuals may notice changes within several weeks, while others may experience more gradual support over time. Reported benefits in preclinical research include support for antioxidant activity, healthy inflammatory responses and maintenance of normal prostate cell function.*¹ As always, speak with a qualified healthcare provider to determine what’s appropriate for your specific health needs.
Nutrition Tip: As an added benefit, healthy fats, such as those from avocados, extra virgin olive oil, walnuts, flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds, support the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients and may help maintain a healthy inflammatory response.⁶,⁷ Additionally, incorporating more lycopene in the diet from tomato products like tomato juice, fresh tomatoes and/or tomato sauce, may be beneficial.⁸
They do two different things. Macalibrium® supports hormone strength and energy; MacaFlow® is for prostate health. Thus you can take them both together. If you do decide to take them together then we suggest taking 2 capsules of Macalibrium in the morning before breakfast, and your three MacaFlow capsules 45 minutes before or after lunch. Pick based on your health goals, or talk to your provider for guidance.*
